Yamaha MT-07 Top Speed Motorbike!

Yamaha’s interest in launching the BIG bikes-the 700cc & 900cc bikes- in India aims at the Yamaha MT-07, which can be expected to launch in India around November 2025. The bike has already been launched in Europe and some other countries and is expected to make a really bold entry into the Indian market. The details of specifications and styling have not been officially confirmed, but some clear, expected features can be listed based on the features of the global model and reliable sources.

Yamaha MT-07 Price in India

 Price-sensitive market focuses on customers’ affordability and hence come up with some cost-effective technology. It starts with a cost of Rs 7,50,000. 

The upgrades may increase the cost prices. The prices could rise higher if the company launches the bike with added features, premium accessories, color, and variant options. 

Powers of Yamaha MT-07!

It has an engine of 689cc. A 6-speed transmission and power of 72.4 bhp and 67 Nm. It’s pretty good with its performance, which hits 210 km/h. Gives a mileage of 10 to 20 kilomteres/l and can go up to 22-25 km/l on its highway rides.

The MT-07 will have minimalistic yet sharp styling, giving it a bold appearance that demands attention when it springs onto the road. The design philosophy is said to draw from the “Dark Side of Japan”. 

LED DRLs are an addition, and they are quite new and furnished. It gives a new and modern look to the motorcycle. A compact fuel tank is part of the harmonious bike’s muscular design with the MT-07. The lines are sharp and the surfaces look ultra, giving it a neat look. The appearance is quite pleasing.

The height of the seat is 805mm, and it weighs around 183 kg. Wide handlebars and the postures are well-balanced. The sharp tail section will come into play, and the front 17-inch and rear 17-inch wheels give the MT-07-Yamaha a full look. 

Modern and Smart Features of MT-07

This being a modern bike, it is quite certain that it will sport a 5-inch TFT digital instrument cluster. It will also connect with Bluetooth and a smartphone, which aids easy access to the smartphone while riding. Among other things, it is rumored to feature an Assist & Slipper clutch, Dual-channel ABS, and Traction control. While there are talks about some variants in India having a semi-automatic transmission option, nothing has yet been officially confirmed. 

Yamaha Positioning In The Indian Market?

The imminent Yamaha MT-07 is an exciting entrant in its segment. It would stand tall in the street fighter range if it were launched around in its expected price. It competes with the Triumph Trident 660 and Honda CB650R.
