What’s up with the Jain Community!

The Jain community operates its business on a day-to-day basis, with a chief scientific foundation and religious ethical practices. The religious belief system of the twelve vows guides their business to perform commercial activities correctly and maintain an ethical work culture, leading to corruption-free business activity, which in turn strengthens and connects the community. This has ultimately made the community strong, leading a healthy, wealthy, and wise life.

A Strong Economic Community! The JITO!

They build a firm business by supporting one another, doing what is right for the human civilization, patrons, vendors, channel resellers, and other setups working along in their business.

Most of the Jain community businessmen are known for their triumphs and successes in diamonds, textiles, the stock market, and pharmaceuticals. They hold a long historical tradition of economic contribution. With great knowledge of business and trade, they have accomplished a lot as a community, and they also have a large percentage of their tax revenue.

To name a few, we have Gautam Adani, Dilip Sanghavi, and the founders of Asian Paints. Factors that contribute to their success totally depend on their values, belief system, and trust. The Community supports each other well with opportunities, interest-free loans, and creates a supportive economic network.

For Them, Business is a Tradition!

For aeons and centuries, they have had a vital cornerstone on trade, and their expertise has been passed on to their cohorts. They also believe in high literacy and education, which keeps them well-equipped and succeed in business.  Jains also practise the tradition of living a simple life over luxury, saving and reinvesting in their own business and community. This, in turn, helps the community to grow economically.

Mindset to Reinvest! And This Time They’ve Bought 186 Luxury Vehicles. Audi, BMW, and Mercedes!

Carrying along ethics with simplicity, the community has once again reinvested collectively with JITO, hitting Rs 149.54 crore purchase of luxurious cars!

What’s (JITO)?

The Jain International Trade Organization is a cross-sectoral community. They are a vast group including several industrialists, businessmen, and professionals. They have together committed themselves to uplifting the Jains and shaping the future at large.

What Just Happened This October 2025?

An allness snap-up initiative, “ Utsav” got the Jains together to anchor a collaborative purchase of 186 luxurious cars worth Rs 149.54 crores. Not to forget the great bulk discount of Rs 21.22crores. That’s a super deal they’ve cracked with the automobile merchants and dealers.

They negotiated with 15 car brands for this. From Mercedes, Audi, to BMW. The Jains, being masters in their saving skills, have got their members save Rs8-Rs 17lakhs per vehicle. Well, the purchase was massive as it covered the whole country.

It included JITO members but had a major crowd from the Ahmedabad city and several parts of Gujarat. Members brought vehicles with prices ranging from Rs60 lakhs to Rs 1.34 crores.

How Did They Crack This?

The Jain International Trade Organization has about 65,000 members across the country. JITO was a moderator and did not gain any profit from this high transaction. Creating a win-win situation, the bulk deal took place. It was seen as a mutual benefit and helped save a lot of marketing costs for the automobile industry.

The power of united purchase has motivated JITO to set in motion a staunch wing for the community buying. The organization also plans to expand this model to other sectors like electronics, medical, and jewelry. Well, seeing this event the Bharwad Yuva Sangathan in Gujarat picked up 121 JCB machines through a similar thought process.

Mr.Himashu Shah exclaimed it’s “ one-of-its-kind deal” and depicts the formidable purchasing power of the Jain community.- Vice president of JITO.

The lead JITO member, Nitin Jain, drove this entire campaign. Other members came up with negotiating ideas for a discount with car dealers.

So the total value spent was approximately Rs 149.54 crores for 186 high-end luxury cars. A discount of over Rs 21crores. Vehicles brought were ranging from Rs60 lakhs to Rs 1,34 crores. With this strategic approach, the community has portrayed its strong unity and purchasing power in India.

Future Cars on the Jain List!

Vehicle ownership has become more accessible for Gujrati’s as their growth rate is higher than the national average, according to GSDP. ( Gujarat’s Gross State Domestic Product). This is a positive sign for Gujrati’s to have increased prosperity for their community.

Gujaratis have had a trending history of Car ownership. It has tripled in the last 15 years and continues to grow as each year passes by. From a piece of luxury, it has become a necessary asset. The car-buying culture continues with about 450 vehicles per 1,000 people. With low-interest loans and flexibility, it’s become easier. Gujaratis lead their purchasing power, but it shall definitely depend on economic conditions and the market trends.

Gujaratis and Jains are expected to be a major contributor in the national growth, reaching strong sales in the automobile market by reaching 8.36 million by 2030.
