Kawasaki Ninja E-1

If the Kawasaki Ninja e-1 is launched in India, it is expected to range at a price of around Rs 8 Lakh, which is the ex-showroom price. On-road costs, and other costs such as insurance, registration, might exceed the price of Rs 9 Lakh. It has been launched globally, but there is no official confirmation for the launch in India.

Performance & Battery: Ninja Goes For Electric Everyday Usability

The Ninja e-1 comes with a magnet synchronous motor, like in most electric bikes today. The motor can produce around 6.8 PS power in ROAD mode, but using the e-boost, which is the burst mode, it can reach up to 12PS. The max torque can go around 40 Nm. It can travel around 66 km in ROAD mode.

The top speed claimed by Kawasaki is around 88 km/h in ROAD mode, and again, with the e-boost, it can go up to 105 km/h.

The ninja e-1 comes with two lithium-ion battery packs (they are also removable). According to what is listed in some markets, one pack of batteries will take approximately 3.7 hours to fully charge. Basically, the performance is well-suited for everyday city rides.

Ninja E-1 Design That Grabs Everybody’s Attention

The moment you see Ninja e-1, you know it carries the spark of Kawasaki. The sporty appearance is enough to see what sets it apart from other bikes.

The front has sharp lines and curves. Twin LED lights are perfectly placed in the front to give that aggressive styling. Even though there is no fuel tank, the front is still sculpted with a cover like that.

The side view is also flowy and looks perfectly balanced. It does not look very aggressive in styling or heavy in styling; instead, it is neatly balanced. The design is impressive for an electric bike.

You do not realize it is an electric bike unless someone tells you so, because the battery pack is hidden inside the bodywork.

The colors are also the highlight of the bike because they really make it look like a futuristic bike. Shades like Metallic Bright Silver with Matte Lime Green accents look fresh and appealing.

17-inch alloy wheels are present with front forks and a compact wheelbase. The bike looks light, so it can be used by riders for both city rides and long weekend trips. The mix of performance and electric design is a hit, and if launched in India, it will surely attract young riders.

Modern and Smart Features: Ninja E-1 is also City Friendly

Kawasaki comes with some great features that make the ride not just better but also fun. First and foremost, it requires no oil charges since it is electric and is much quieter to go on a peaceful ride.

The bike comes with dual modes, that is, Road and Eco. Road mode gives you full power while you are riding, so you can go all energetic and fun while driving. The Eco mode is for more conservative use that can go with daily rides. Additionally, it has an e-boost function to give that extra burst of power whenever needed.

The Ninja e-1 has a full-color TFT, which is the digital instrument display for you to look at key riding information (range, riding mode, etc) right in front of you on the screen.

The Ninja e-1 is built on a steel trellis frame. The bike feels like a proper motorcycle, not just an electric bike.

Another highlight of the bike is the WALK mode, which is a special mode introduced for everyday situations. It helps in parking or driving in crowded or tight spots.
