Mercedes-Benz has curated a fully electric concept vehicle. James Cameron, director of the Avatar films from Light storm Entertainment, embodied the film’s theme of nature and connection into the blueprint of the car.
A team of German engineers reflected and put a lot of thought into creating this masterpiece. Sadly, it’s not a production model, but it’s definitely showcasing the future vision of mobility. It’s not a model built for sale. It was officially unveiled at the Consumer electric show in Las Vegas. (CES 2020). A three-dimensional holographic base and its idiosyncratic crab walk make it manoeuvre a 360-degree turn.
Inspired by Avatar
The sleek Avatar is for real. It shows the interdependence and integration of humans with nature and high-end technology. Surreal things have their presence in any movie you see; in fact, books depict how galaxies, fairies, and extra-terrestrial creatures are portrayed.
Mercedes Vision Avtar is like a living creature, creating bionic flaps with amazing bioluminescence. That’s like entering a world of Pandora. It’s an absolute fantasy that’s come into the real world. Mercedes Vision is an absolutely unheard and undreamt piece of machinery.
A Car That Tracks Your Heartbeat
A fictional yet real Mercedes Vision Avtr. A human machine with no traditional steer concept. The Center console system directly traces the pulse from the user’s hand and connects them to the vehicle. This dream concept is just so fascinating. Let’s peep into the special effects and mechanisms of Mercedes-Vision AVTR.
Dynamic engineering! High technology that can blow your mind! Recycled, reused, and revamped an organic battery that’s an absolutely free version of metals. Graphene is the material used for this superfast battery. It can’t get more sustainable than this.33 Bionic flaps whoosh! That mimics a reptile! Are you kidding me? A reptile that communicates in flowing gestures with the chauffeur is so unreal. It’s an autonomous car balancing a thin line between humans and vehicles.
It creates no emissions. Now that’s what the world needs! Engine powers are more than one can expect, that’s about 350kW, setting a benchmark for EQ powers.
An intelligence used specially to bring in torque distribution. The driving dynamics are all under control. Highly efficient and innovative, it has high levels of active safety too.
A Car that can move sideways !Really! Yes, you heard it right. The axles in the front and rear move simultaneously or in opposite directions to allow the AVTR to move sideways about 30 degrees, in contrast to conventional vehicles. It’s a movement similar to crabs. Imagine it just moving like a slow reptile. That’s what I call fantasy, just got real!
a bio-inspired exterior with moving “bionic flaps,” and an interior using sustainable, recycled materials and an immersive, projection-based display system. The car can be controlled by a central, joystick-like element that can even be used to select options by concentrating on them, and the system can recognize passengers by their heart rate
Bio-Inspired Exteriors, Power-Packed Performance, and Holographic Interiors
It can range up to 700km on its battery power. Wheels that illuminate and neurons at the rear diffuse. Making things bright and elaborate when the avatar accelerates. Doors that are wing-shaped are single-bow. The Biofeedback recognition has a wakeup sequence.
The ergonomics are low in weight and have a good headrest system. The Dina mica leathers are made from recycled materials and are vegan. The wood on the floor is from Karruun (rattan). All this sounds so sustainable, and so are they. An impressive space and Avatar experience that’s absolutely unique. It can be charged in just a fraction of 15 minutes. The 4 Motors are independent and electric.
Drivertrains with AWDs for a superior driving experience, and the torque is well distributed. Innovative and electric, it’s compact with a high-voltage battery. A revolution set with 100 % recycled materials. A masterpiece of digitization and artificial intelligence in the automobile industry. Neuromorphic hardware is so promising as it minimizes energy usage. An immersive experience with the space and 3D graphics in real time creates such a visual connection that is fascinating.
Through the curved display module and dashboard, one can see different wonders of nature from across the world, including Huangshan peak in China, the Hyperion tree from the US, and the Australian Pink salt lake. The ultraviolet lights and bioenergy make it a moment of Aww. The car is a resource saver and eco-friendly.
Unique and One of Its Kind
A prototype model is not expected as a manufactured model. Its price remains out of the equation. Its attributes and features are absolutely aesthetic. It has brought fiction to life and reminds you of a movie scene.
Mercedes Vision AVTR shall remain a concept vehicle quite similar to the Vision EQXX. These are just not on sale, but we wish! The car is explicitly not to be on the road legally due to its high-tech and advanced attributes.
There is no official release or plans to enter the Indian automobile market. With an estimated price of Rs 1.21 to Rs 1.32 crores, but these are super speculative and rumoured ones.
