Powertrain Options: Something for Everyone

Hyundai has offered us several powertrain options. The new-gen Venue is available in three different engine options that gives buyers the option to choose that meets their driving needs & budget as well.

The first option is a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 82 hp and 115 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and is an excellent pick for those who desire a comfortable city driving and are conscious of their budget.

Contrary‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ to this, the 1.0L turbo petrol motor would be a right pick if anyone is after a sporty performance instead of a regular drive. It produces 118 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. You can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT automatic.

Lastly, the 1.5L diesel version can be mated with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, which gives an output of 114 bhp and quite high 250 Nm of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌torque. It gives a mileage of 23km/l (ARAI certified), for buyers looking for fuel efficiency.
