2026 Hyundai Verna Spied Shots Reveal New Dual Curved Screen & Premium Interior Upgrades

The upcoming 2026 Hyundai Verna has been spotted on road tests again, giving us a clear look at Hyundai’s preparation for the new updates on the new Verna Facelift 2026. The spy images tells us about the interior and exterior upgrades that gives hint of a premium and tech-loaded Verna next year.

Even though official details are not out, the latest spied shots gives an overlook of what to expect with this vehicle.

Exterior Design Updates Seen in Spy Images

The 2026 Verna test mule is covered heavily, but some visual changes can be seen clearly. The sedan seems to have a sharper and more stretched LED headlamp setup, along with a wider grille design that merges well with the new bumper structure. The alloy wheel also appears to follow a fresh pattern, probably 16-inch units for higher trims.

At rear, the tail-lamp section looks more sculpted, and the bumper appears reworked to give a bit sportier look. The sedan will continue the sloping-roof silhouette, but lines look more smooth and slightly more grown in size. These changes indicate is focusing on a more dynamic and redefined appeal.

Big Interior Change: Dual Curved Screen Setup

The biggest highlight of the new spy shots is the dual curved screen layout inside the cabin. Both displays, expected to be 10.25-inch units, are slightly curved toward the driver. This setup is similar to Hyundai’s newer global models and adds a very modern premium feel.

The dashboard also seems reworked with cleaner surfaces and new soft-touch material. Spied images show a redesigned center console, ambient lighting strips and improved switch layout. A panoramic sunroof is expected on top trims, along with ventilated front seats and leatherette upholstery, quite common in the segment.

Expected Features and Technology

Even though these are not fully confirmed, strong expectations include wireless charging, air purifier, digital driver display, Bose 8 speaker system, rear AC vents and powered driver seat. Hyundai is also likely to expand connected features, including remote operations and updated safety alerts.

Safety kit is also expected to take a major step, with Level 2 ADAS possibly offered from mid or top variants. Adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot alerts and automatic emergency braking are among the expected systems.

Engine Options Likely to Continue

As per industry reports, the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 1.5L turbo-petrol engine will continue. The NA engine should offer around 115PS, while the turbo-GDI can deliver close to 160 PS. Gearbox choices may include a 6-speed manual, IVT for the NA motor, and a 7-speed DCT for the turbo variant. Mileage numbers will be shared later but might expect similar mileage as current model.

Launch Date and Market Positioning

The 2026 Hyundai Venue is expected to launch somewhere between early to mid-2026, with India being the initial market. The four-door Sedan will compete against cars like Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Maruti Ciaz. Hyundai aims to strengthen its position in the segment by offering strong feature list, premium cabin, and updated styling.
