The Mahindra Thar Roxx is often regarded as the big brother of the Mahindra Thar. The car offers a larger size and comes in a 5-door model. It comes with a great performance, a powerful engine, and enhanced safety.

Keeping those things in mind, Mahindra didn’t want to compromise on this car. The car offers a spacious interior, 5 doors, and a larger size. The car was launched with a larger audience in mind. And comes in a 7-seater.
The car was launched in August 2024. In the one year since its launch, the car has been on the market, and it has sold 50,000 units in India.
Appearance and Style

From the front design, it comes with a Thar ROXX that boasts a new 6-slat grille, Bi-LED Headlights, C-shaped DRLs, long hood, upright cabin, and short overhangs.
Mahindra Thar Roxx has a 5-door Thar Roxx, rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar, Triangular Quarter Glass, ORVM Camera, 19-inch alloy wheels, a metal side step is also visible, “Thar Roxx” badging, and Radio Antenna. And the rear design comes with a C-shaped brake light, LED taillights, C-pillar-mounted rear door handles, Rear quarter glass, 4×4 badging, Rear Charging options, and seat comfort.
The interior colour combination of the car includes a dual-tone black and white theme and a Mocha Brown theme.
Performance

Mahindra Thar Roxx comes with petrol and diesel variants. The 2.0-litre petrol engine of a 6-speed manual transmission with a power of 119kW at 330nm torque.
Another 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with 130kW power at 380nm torque. With petrol, it provides a mileage of 12.4km/l.
And the 2.2-litre diesel engine of a power of 119kW at 330nm torque for speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission.
The power of 128.6kW at 400nm torque is provided on a torque converter automatic transmission. And diesel supplies a fuel efficiency of 15.2km/l.
Mahindra Thar Roxx has a fuel tank capacity of 57 litres.
Dimensions
It comes with a total length, width, and height of 4428mm, 1870mm, and 1923mm. And the wheelbase of 2850mm. The ground clearance provided is 226mm. Kerb weight is 1710kg. That has a boot space of 447 litres.
Mahindra Thar Roxx offers different tyre sizes for different models. A tyre size of 255/65 R18 for Front Tyres and 255/65 R18 for Rear Tyres. 255/60 R19 for Front Tyres and 255/60 R19 for Rear Tyres in the top variants.
Features
Mahindra Thar Roxx has a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Thar to have a panoramic sunroof. Digital driver display, wireless charger, Harmon Kardon audio with 9-speaker sound system, keyless entry and start, adaptive cruise control, two front and two rear cup holders, and ventilated front seats are also there.
Different drive modes are also there. Zip and Zoom modes are given for on-road driving, whereas snow, mud, and sand modes are given for off-roading.
Safety
Mahindra Thar Roxx has many safety features. It got a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, making it one of the safest off-road cars in India.

The bigger and better Mahindra Thar (Roxx) starts at a price of 12.99 lakh rupees. For top variants, the price extends to 23.39 lakh rupees.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Force Gurkha, and the Mahindra Scorpio N are its rivals in the market.
The car is a 7-seater family SUV, offering great features, a safety rating, performance, and a larger size for a great price.
