It did offer a blend of affordability, features, and performance at its entry point, creating competition for its rivals in the 440cc segment, but it failed to deliver good sales in 2025.
A sudden departure only after 18 months of its launch. Does it deserve an exit? Hero Mavrick 440: Marks an early end of an era: Rise New Mavrick 440

- Rumoured updates say that the Hero Mavrick 440 (2025) is expected to make a comeback in December 2025, with prices ranging from Rs 2,10,000- Rs 2,20,000/-.
- New upgraded variants with TFT features, Smart High-tech facilities, super suspension setups, including an inverted fork from the X440, better performance, and a great deal of cosmetic upgrades are expected.
- Hero Mavrick scrambler is going to step in, along with new features and aesthetics.

Hero Mavrick 440, being the most expensive model it shall stay a diminished and understated version in this segment.
In spite of all the attempts to differentiate it with its visual appearance & ergonomics, its uninspired reception has, in the short run of 18 months, led to its withdrawal from the roaster.
