Aircross (C3): One in Honor of MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni’s edition Citroen C3 Aircross is a slender-run SUV. In Honor of our favorite Indian Cricketer, it’s surely a limited version that’s absolutely exclusive and sleek. Launched in June 2024, it came with 100 units. Inspired by MS Dhoni, it has decals including his jersey number 7. Customized seat covers, illuminations at their best with sill plates and a dashcam in the front, are perfect. 

Ecstatic to know for a surprise you also got a Dhoni doodle to look for in the glove box. Oh, yes! And if you’re the lucky one, then you might get an exclusive glove signed by MS Dhoni himself. It’s one unique asset and collection that MS Dhoni fans can have. 

Marketing strategies definitely took MS Dhoni on board with his message “DO What Matters,” promoting the idea of making choices that are impactful and living life to the fullest with the C3 Aircross. 

Aircross C3 was fabricated by the French. The automakers are a part of the global automotive company Stellantis. Under Citroen’s C-cubed program to crop up in markets like India and is locally manufactured in Chennai to meet clients’ needs within the country.

Designed to handle various terrains. Boot space is for 511 litres with 3 row seats removed in the 7-seat version. ARAI certified mileage of approximately 17.6kmpl fuel efficiency 

Comfort and suspension are well-engineered for a great and smooth ride. Known as having a flying carpet effect. Advanced comfort suspensions. Interiors have a pleasant beige color scheme. Air conditioning is equipped with standard vents and roof-mounted options for the second row. 

Being safe on the ground, it is equipped with 2 front airbags. ISOFIX child seat anchors.  Good climate control with cars equipped with a standard AC system rather than an automatic climate control. 

Primarily powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol “ PURETECH 110 engine” offering around 109-110 bhp and 190-205 NM of torque. 6-speed manual and automatic transmission,200 mm ground clearance with a 45 litre fuel tank. Available in several colors.

Driver train with FWD and Emission standard BS6 Phase 2. Kerb weight of 1230-1267 kg . 5 doors and cargo space of 444 liters in the 5-seat version. Allo wheels or steel rims depend on the variant you choose. Standard front and rear tyres are 215/60 R17. Electric power steering. LED Lights, projector headlamps are available on new models. 

It can be improved by adding some more features like power fold mirrors, auto-dimming inside mirrors, a sunroof, and ventilated seats. Good road presence and great design that’s practical and value for money. 

Being at the top, like MS Dhoni’s Aircross C3 speas include heap as the MaX trim and plus trims. Keyless entry and exit, great tints on the rear windows, a 3-inch head-up display, sliding rear benches, and 17-inch alloy wheels, auto-dim, electrochromic rear-view mirrors, and additional driver assistance in active forms.

Limited edition is with just 100 units. Launched in 2024, costs Rs 8.49 lakhs. Simply and Aircross with a Fan moment as it showed strong interest due to MS Dhoni accessories and goodies. The Keydriver was a die-hard fan of MS Dhoni.
