The CNG bike from Bajaj was launched back in July 2024. It came as the first CNG bike to arrive globally. It is the only bike available in the CNG variant. And later in the initial stages, it became a success.
The bike sold around 40,000 units in the first six months of its launch. And around 50,000 units in the first nine months. The CNG pumps in the country are increasing with time, and with it, the growth in CNG bikes will also be seen.
And the success of this vehicle, the launch of more CNG bikes is expected.
The top variant of this bike has a digital instrument cluster with full connectivity

It has a unique design that comes in the commuter motorcycle segment. The car is available in seven colours. Pewter Grey – Black, Ebony Black – Grey, Caribbean Blue, Pewter Grey – Yellow, and Ebony Black – Red. Cyber White, Racing Red.
A unique hexagonal LED light in the front (a sharp and futuristic look) is there.
Since it is only available in the CNG variant, the vehicle comes with a 124.58cc, air-cooled engine that is 4-stroke and fuel-injected (dual-fuel). It has a maximum power of 9.3 – 9.5bhp (8000rpm) at 9.7nm torque (5000 – 6000rpm).
Comes with a fuel capacity of 2kg, which provides a mileage of 100km per kg.
It comes with an overall length of 2010mm, a width of 840mm, and a seat height of 825mm. The seat length is 785mm. A wheelbase of 1340mm. The kerb weight of 147kg. Along with the ground clearance of 170mm. And has a tyre size of 80/90-17 for the front and 80/100-16 for the rear. Both are tubeless.
It has safety features, also a Protective Trellis Frame, Certified CNG Cylinder, and CBS (Combined Braking System).
The starting price for the base model of the bike is 90,976 rupees. And the price of the disc-led variant rises to 1,10,976 rupees.
Hero Xtreme 125R is considered a major competitor for the bike.
The shift from petrol bikes to other fuel bikes has been seen in recent times. People are preferring to buy electric and CNG vehicles. Electric scooters have seen a significant rise. And if the bike also succeeds in providing this type of comfort and features, the CNG two-wheelers will also dominate the market.
