XL 6 is one of the most premium experiences from Maruti. A 6-seater MPV that offers great performance, features, and is available at a reasonable price, a car for families with strong build quality, good space, and great comfort.
The car was launched in August 2019, also known as ‘Sigling of Maruti Ertiga’. However, it has a better performance and features compared to Eritga. In terms of performing in the Indian market, the car is considered successful, selling over 2,00,000 units since its launch.
However, the production of XL6 was stopped in 2022. But the vehicle got a good response from the buyers, generally called a ‘great value for money’
Looks and Design

The car is available in 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone colors. The vehicle has petrol and CNG variants. From the front, it has a Split Quad-LED setup with DRLs, a Bold Front Grille,dual-tone front bumper. Rear design has Smoked LED tail lamps, Shark fin antenna, Integrated roof spoiler with high-mounted stop lamp (LED), and defogger. Chrome finish inside door handles from the side. And an all-black sporty look from the interior.
Dimensions
It has a Length×Width×Height of 4445mm×1775mm×1755mm. The wheelbase of 2740mm, and the gross weight of 1810kg. Ground clearance of the XL6 is 180mm. Comes with a tyre size of 195/60 R16. The total boot space is 209 L, and can be expanded with folding rear seats.
Performance
It has a 1462cc petrol engine with a 1.5L K15C Smart Hybrid producing 101.6 bhp at 136.8 nm torque. And another engine of 1462cc with a 1.5L K15C CNG producing 86.6 bhp at 121.5 nm torque for its CNG models. It has a fuel capacity of 45 litres. And provides the mileage of 20.97km/l in petrol and 26.32km/kg in CNG.

Safety Features
It has been a concern for Maruti cars for a long time. The car got a 3-star safety rating by Global NCAP; other competitors have a better rating. For safety purposes, the car has Standard 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, 360° camera, parking sensor, ESP with Hill Hold, ISOFIX child seat mounts, disc front and drum rear brakes.
Pricing and Competitors
The starting price is ₹ 11.84 lakh, and model-wise, the best model price rises to ₹ 17.14 lakh. The Kia Carens and Toyota Rumion are competitors of the XL6, both in the same segment and price range.
Overall, it provides a great 6-seater MPV performance. The buyers also praised the car, claiming it as a great ‘Value for Money’ car. However, no sunroof and a mid-safety rating are the concerns for the XL6.
