Kia’s EV6 Premium Features, Performance, and Price Explained in Detail

The Kia EV6 facelift is officially on sale in India. A pre-facelift was also introduced in 2022, and then at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 (Auto Expo), another “GT-Line AWD-only” facelift was introduced with modifications made in both interior and exterior. Finally, Kia officially launched the facelifted EV6 in March 2025.

Exterior: Sophisticated Styling That Will Turn Heads

Kia has left no stone unturned to give the EV6 a sleek and classy look. When you look at the front lights (DRLs) and the rear light bar, it has come up with a new Star Map LED light design. We might also notice that a similar style is also seen in Kia’s electric cars, like the EV9.

The Dual LED headlamps come with adaptive driving beam, where the headlights automatically adjust their brightness so that it doesn’t blind oncoming drivers.

To get that sleek look, a few tweaks and turns are made, like the front bumper looks sportier, the bolder and lower grille is slimmer and wider. Doors are designed with seamless body color that blends in smoothly and looks elegant.

It comes with 19” gloss finish alloy wheels. The wheels are not only crafted to meet edgy aesthetics but also aerodynamically efficient.

Battery And Performance

The Kia EV6 now features a bigger 84 kWh battery, which is better than the older one.

EV6 uses 800-volt fast charging that takes only around 18 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. According to the ARAI test, the car can drive up to 663 km when it is fully charged.

In India, only one variant is offered and that is a dual-motor AWD GT-Line. It produces around 320 PS and 605 Nm torque.

With this excellent torque, EV6 can go from 0-100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.

Premium Interior With High-Tech Features

The interior looks as premium as the exterior does. It comes with black seats combined with vegan leatherette material. Once you look at it, you feel that efforts are made to acknowledge sustainability as well as looks.

Apart from the features like wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, ambient lighting, and a large electric sunroof, Kia EV6 offers much more than just the basics.

With Augmented Reality (AR) Head-up Display, the car shows key information directly on the windshield with 3D arrows on the actual road.

It has a dual 12.3” curved display where one is a digital instrument cluster and the other is an infotainment display. The display shows all the important information digitally in a single place.

It comes with EV remote climate control so that the temperature is just set perfectly.

With Kia Connect 2.O, you stay connected from communication to entertainment, everything easily accessible at your fingertips.

EV6 features a Meridian Premium sound system that comes with 14 speakers. 14 speakers create an exceptional vibe for your short or long drives.

How Safe is Kia’s EV6?

Kia EV6 comes with 8 airbags. It is packed with other safety features like:

  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA): It detects any vehicles in front of you and warns you if you get too close to them.
  • Lane Keep Assist (LKA): It ensures that you are driving in your own lane.
  • Rear-cross Traffic Avoidance Assist (RCTA): While you’re reversing or parking, RCTA ensures that you hit no object by automatically assisting with emergency braking.
  • Safe Exit Assist (SEA): With this, the child lock gets automatically activated to keep you safe while you’re getting down.

And like this, Kia EV6 comes with a lot more advanced features that help to keep both the driver and passenger safe.

Price of Kia’s EV6 In India

The ex-showroom price of GT‑Line AWD (single variant) is ₹65.90 lakh. Since Kia has offered this single top variant, it is a bit on the higher side. But considering loads of features and performance, the price can be justified.

Kia has absolutely raised the bar with the launch of the new EV6 Facelift. It has taken the EV game to another level. The EV6 facelift which comes with a better battery, better performance, and even more improved styling, it has left no stone unturned to capture attention in the EV market.
