Forthcoming portable, intermediate, and substantial SUVs may differ in size but have special attributes of their own. More space, more style, power-packed engines, and great off-road capabilities.
Let’s look at some upcoming SUVs coming in the last quarter of 2025 and 2026 –
Skoda Enyaq
It offers a range of 500 km. A solid body with an attention-grabbing design. This time, it will feature updated technology and enhanced performance. It will offer three battery packs with fast charging capability up to 175kW, which will charge it 10-80% in just 28 minutes (with a larger battery).
Features are built with great sustainability on the interiors, making it look aesthetic.
A 13-inch touchscreen display, and of course, the massage seats. This 5-seater SUV will provide more space to its passengers compared to others.
In terms of safety, it has not been tested in India yet, but it is expected to have a strong ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System). In global tests, it got 5 5-star ADAS rating. The launch price of this car may go up to 50 lakh. It may launch in September 2025.
Audi Q5 B10
Audi had its global launch in September 2024, but in the case of India, its launch is expected to be in late 2025. The most highlighted features include a navigation system, parking sensor, Lane departure, Power Moonroof, Automatic Temperature Control, and Emergency communication system. It ensures responsive acceleration, powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine which delivers 268 horsepower. Available with both Petrol and Diesel engines. The expected price of this car is around 70 lakh.
Genesis GV 90
An electrified, powerful, luxurious, and highly anticipated SUV is set to arrive in India by 2026. It may go with the 113 kWh battery pack that offers over 600 horsepower, and will cover a range of more than 350 miles per charge (approximately 560km). Charging may support up to 350 kW, which helps in reaching 10-80% in just 20-25 minutes. Features of this car include
A large OLED display with integrated infotainment, a magic roof with electrochromic glass, which helps in adjusting transparency, and a three-row layout may be there with a fixed front sheet.
Tata Harrier EV
Tata is known for making cars with a solid body at a reasonable price. Tata Harrier is a famous car that was launched back in 2019, and in 2025, Tata is set to launch the Harrier’s electric model. It will cover the speed from 0-100kmph in just 6.3 seconds. It has attributes that come along with having multiple drive modes; it has a transparent mode that reveals the ground beneath the vehicle, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, and a solid exterior body.
Tata is also famous for its safety. This model too scored a 5-Star Bharat NCAP safety rating. It will have a dual battery pack up to 75kWh and is claimed to have a range of around 620 km. Bookings for this car will open on 2nd July 2025 and will have a price of around 21.50 Lakh. There are a total of 6 variants of this car, and the top model’s price goes up to 32 Lakh.
Nissan Patrol
With the estimated launch in October 2025, this car will have a class-leading 495 horsepower and 700 nm of torque in sports mode. It has a 9-speed automatic transmission and multiple engines. In India’s premium auto space, it will directly compete with the Defender and the Land Cruiser. It may launch in 2026 in Indian markets.
Maruti Escudo
Maruti is set to launch its roadster, bringing a stir to its rivals, Hyundai Creta, Vitara Brezza, Kia Seltos, and Renault Duster. A manual petrol 1462cc car is scheduled to launch by late 2025. It will be a mid-size 5-seater SUV where multiple fuel options will be provided, including CNG. The Price of this car may go between 10-12 lakh.
