Honda Activa
We know that Hero Splendor dominates the bike sector, and Maruti Wagon R does the same in the car sector. That sort of dominance Honda Activa has in the scooter segment. Every month, this scooter tops the chart. It comes with a 123.92 cc single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine and also offers a USB Type-C charging port.
It has a 4.2-inch TFT Display along with an LED headlamp. It can run around 315km with its 5.3-litre fuel tank capacity. Let’s look at the total number of units sold by Activa during January to May:

TVS Jupiter

The price of its lightest variant starts from 79,720 rupees, and the top variant goes up to 88,942 rupees. Both Activa and Jupiter are considered competitors in the Scooter market. Suzuki Access 125

Comes with the engine of 124 cc, air-cooled, single‑cylinder, fuel-injected, OBD‑2B compliant. Also has smooth TVT transmission. Its fuel capacity storage is around 5.5 litres. TVS iQube
In the elite list of the top 5, it is the only electric scooter. Launched back in January 2020, it has made a great reputation in its buyers’ minds within a short time. It comes in four variants – iQube (2.2 kWh), iQube (3.5 kWh), iQube S (3.5 kWh), and iQube ST (3.5 kWh or 5.3 kWh).
The base model of this scooter starts from 94,434 rupees, and the price of the top model increases to 1,58,834 rupees. It offers more than 118 smart features. It has a 5-inch non-touch TFT display for its base variants and a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display for its top variant.
The range of the base variant of this scooter consists of 75km, and the range of the top variant goes to 212 km, which is the longest range for India’s e-scooter. 3.5 kWh battery with 950 W charger charges it from 0 to 80% in just 3 hours. Sales in the first five months of iQube are:

It is another Honda scooter on the list. It offers multiple variants – Dio 110 and Dio 125. Both have the same PGM-Fi engine but different cubic capacity (CC). Dio 110 has 109.51CC, whereas Dio 125 has 123.92 CC. Both of the variants have a 4.2-inch full colour TFT display and a USB Type-C charging port.
