Volvo C40  Electrified

A 2023 model costing in its ex-showroom price of Rs 61.2 lakhs. Vovlo cars are manufacturers of this super vehicle. With a great step and rise in the electric market, it has increased its production. Volvo Cars is owned by a Chinese company, Geely Holding Group. Improving its facility, it aims to grow in the Indian Market.

Volvo C40 Fully Electric SUV: Performance and Charging

The stylish exterior is supreme. As a fully electric SUV, performance is not an optional parameter. Standard across the SUV lineup, the Recharge enters with the premium dual electric motor configuration, one on each axis. The remarkable factor about C40 is that it can travel about 530 kilometers once it is fully charged. Fast DC charging of up to 150 kW can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 27 minutes, which is again great for quick trips. Home charging can take 7-8 hours to fully charge.

Sleek, Modern-Like Exterior & Styling

Sporting a sleek coupe-like profile, unlike its sibling XC40 Recharge, the C40 slopes downwards to the back, creating a very sporty dynamic profile. Sleekness in appearance moves into a steeper rear windscreen and a completely revised tailgate and tail lamp layout, making the rear of the car look more modern and aggressive. A front-exclusive headlight for this model from India is equipped with a more premium lighting technology, truly setting it apart on the road. And of course, Volvo’s signature “Thor’s Hammer” LED daytime running lamps remain, instantly identifiable and adding that signature Scandinavian touch.

The car has a sporty stance with dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels that ideally fill the wheel arches on the front. There is a clever two-part spoiler design, the rear ends with one blacked-out lip on the tailgate and a twin-pod spoiler at the roof edge. Neither has any more reason to exist; they are making creative guesses as to where the C40 may have very bold, athletic looks while also discreetly improving the aerodynamics of the C40. It stands quite wide behind with slim wrap-around tail lamps and a sleek bumper design. It gives a planted confident stance. The contrast plastic cladding along the lower sides gives it a rugged appeal, minus the overall premium impact.

Volvo C40 Interior With Elegance

Entering it means entering a cocoon of understated elegance. Volvo has gone for vegan-friendly, leather-free couture that endows the interior with a contemporary and eco-friendly ambiance. It comes with a familiar dashboard that includes the usual 9-inch central touchscreen that also wirelessly connects with Android. All seats at the front have power adjustments, heating, air conditioning, and a memory function on the driver’s side in order to allow another driver to use the same vehicle without needing to continually reset the position.

All will remain fresh with energy-efficient dual-zone climate control, while the advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) adds an aspect of safety and ease. From blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control to back-cross traffic alert with brake intervention, the C40 is packed with smart technology. As an extra touch, some connected car features add to the experience since they are configured through e-SIM.

Volvo C40 is So Futuristic

Overall, the C40 recharge has everything that a premium SUV needs. Designed like a sportster, it’s super with its comfort. A great choice for those who aim to buy a futuristic vehicle. A car that’s great for safe family long rides. A perfect pick.
